Mia Shenken

“With a Valuations degree in hand, Mia has a solid grounding in real estate academia"

Keen to gain valuable practical knowledge, Mia has worked in a variety of positions throughout her studies. In her first year of university, Mia travelled overseas for an internship with a FinTech start-up that specialises in big data for commercial real estate. She has since gained experience in family law, valuations, and commercial and centre management. Mia has a broadly developed skillset and is a well-rounded addition to the Davidson Property Advocates team.

In 2019, Mia was awarded a scholarship accompanying a graduate program with The GPT Group. She subsequently featured in a marketing campaign with RMIT University.

During her early career, Mia’s client base largely comprised institutional investors. However, she found herself preferring to advise and relate to individual clients on a more intimate level. Residential real estate was therefore the natural step forward. Mia views property as, not only a source of wealth, but a wellspring for lifestyle, identity and community. In her role as Property Advisor, matching a home to the right purchaser is therefore paramount in Mia's approach.

In her work, Mia goes all in and is known for her visual creativity, a meticulous yet systematic approach, and a steadfast focus on the long game. Calm, pragmatic and highly committed, we welcome Mia as an invaluable member to the team.

Mia has a sophisticated understanding of the inner-south and south-east residential markets, having grown up in Brighton and Caulfield and attending the local schools. With her roots firmly planted south of the Yarra, Mia doesn’t see herself going anywhere. Looking to the future, Mia aspires to snap up her sensitively refurbished Victorian era home near Elwood Beach. Outside of business hours, Mia can be spotted on scenic walks with friends, resistance training, or café hopping. While her list of cafes to visit is continually expanding, the long-standing culinary strip of Glen Huntly Road in Elsternwick and the grungy Windsor end of Chapel Street remain firm favourites for Mia.

Let’s start now.
